Registry of Marriage: Luminescence
This project is located at Fort Canning Hill, 7 Canning Rise, Singapore 179869. The site will be separated into two parts with an adjacent space for people to walk through The external area will be a semi external area that is sheltered by a glass roof that allows light to pass through and the open front and back will allow wind to blow through. Visually creating an aisle that people would have to walk down like during a wedding, the couple walk down together. This would be open to public spaces. The interior area is used function and divided into two is that is connected to the external area. The first floor on the left side of the building is the counter area and waiting area and right side of the building is the solemnization room.
Light is used to create spaces, grouping spaces together. Natural light illuminate the building. The colour white and used of glass throughout the building reflect light inside and outside of the building; because of the surrounding garden of fort canning, the natural green are amplify by the white making the building standout from the contrast of colours.

"Light in the darkness"

Like how light is used in the dark to find things revealing whatever in the dark. In every relationship, being each other "light" would help couples to go through life openly without hiding things.
